How do I appeal the trial court’s decision on a request for a stay during the appeal?

Fortunately, there is no need to file a separate appeal if you want to have the appellate court review the trial court’s decision granting/denying a request for a stay.  To seek appellate review of an order denying (or granting) a stay order you just need to file a motion seeking review of the trial court’s order with the appellate court.
